Maureen Nicholson Takes Office

Today was Maureen Nicholson's first day on the job as Pomfret's First Selectman after winning the November 2017 election. Maureen was First Selectman from 2012-2015. This month, Pomfret voters decided to send Maureen back to Town Hall.

As First Selectman, Maureen hopes to focus on managing the town's budget effectively for taxpayers, bringing in grants for town projects, and preserving the rural character of our town.
